1. Scope of Work

Work will be performed only as described in the written estimate or invoice. Any work not listed is not included and requires a separate approval and pricing.

2. Estimates & Pricing

Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection.
Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Pricing may change if unforeseen issues arise (hidden damage, code issues, unsafe conditions).
We reserve the right to refuse work outside our scope or skillset.

3. Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required for jobs exceeding $500 or requiring material purchases.
Final payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods: cash, check, electronic payment, debit/credit.
Debit card payments are subject to a 1% processing fee, and credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. These fees are calculated based on the total invoice amount.
Late payments may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month after 15 days.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a service or cancellation fee of $200.00
Deposits for materials are non-refundable once materials have been purchased.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the original scope of work must be approved before proceeding.

Additional work will be documented as a change order and billed separately.

6. Materials

Materials may be supplied by the customer or purchased by us.
We are not responsible for defects, delays, or failures of customer-supplied materials.
Materials purchased for the job remain the property of the customer.

7. Jobsite Access & Safety

Customers must provide clear and safe access to the work area.
Please be mindful of your pets during service.
We reserve the right to stop or refuse work if unsafe conditions are present.
The customer is responsible for removing personal items from the work area.

8. Cleanup & Disposal

Basic cleanup of the immediate work area is included.
Removal or disposal of large debris, fixtures, or hazardous materials may incur additional charges.

9. Warranty

Labor is warranted for 30 days from completion unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be provided for the work completed or services performed under this contract.
Warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Customer misuse or modifications
Pre-existing conditions
Manufacturer defects (covered by manufacturer warranties)
Warranty is void if work is altered by others.

10. Limitations & Liability

We are not responsible for hidden issues such as mold, asbestos, structural defects, or code violations discovered during work.
Customer understands that handyman services are non-licensed trade services unless otherwise specified.
Liability is limited to the cost of the work performed.

11. Insurance

We carry general liability insurance for our work. This does not replace homeowner insurance coverage for unforeseen damage or losses.

12. Communication

Communication is very important! We will do our best to go above and beyond. We strive to respond to calls and messages within 24 business hours.
Delays due to weather, supply chain issues, or emergencies may affect scheduling.

13. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service due to unsafe conditions, non-payment, abusive behavior, or misrepresentation of the job scope.

14. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
